Fuller weekend than I intended, but not to the point of madness

Joined [info]rjw1, [info]nou and guests for an extremely chilled dinner party on Friday night. Glorious vegan delights cooked by [info]nou, geekery and perry

Engaged in goth-herding for the oft-postponed trip to Painshill Park on Saturday - joining [info]natassja13 (who should take all the credit for the trip), [info]rosenkavalier, [info]fracture242, [info]d_floorlandmine, [pics] [info]valkyriekaren, [info]denalyia, [info]kekhmet and [info]augeas traipsing around the fields and follies and grottos and castles. Picnicing in the shadow of the Ruined Abbey, offered mead at the Temple Of Bacchaus and ooh-ed and aah-ed in a most child-like fashion in the Grotto itself. Bonus points went to the wild mink we saw cavorting on the riverbank by the Grotto

Finally was herded myself on Sunday evening, by [info]julietk and [info]kitty_goth, to The Globe to see The Winter's Tale. Once I stopped getting distracted by the beauty of the language and starting listening to it I enjoyed myself immensely; it was an interesting experience seeing something by the Bard performed in a manner more like how it might have been originally :)
